Airlaid, not tissue
Most disposable cocktail napkins are tissue: two or three thin plies pressed together, quick to pill, quicker to fall apart under a sweating glass. Airlaid is built differently. What size are cocktail napkins?
Standard cocktail napkins measure 5″ square folded, which is the size that fits a cocktail tray, a bar rail, and the palm of a hand. What cocktail napkins are used for
The name says cocktail, but these do the work of beverage napkins and bar napkins across the whole service. Anywhere a drink, a small plate, or a passed bite changes hands:

They are made from natural cellulose fibers and are certified compostable in commercial facilities, so check what your local program accepts before adding them to a compost bin. Do not flush them: airlaid is engineered to stay strong when wet, which is precisely why it does not belong in plumbing.
